Air-Cooled Reflector is the ideal solution for minimizing heat build-up problems in a grow room. Many Cool Tubes can be installed in-line for greater cooling efficiency. 300 cfm of cooling power minimum is recommended per Kool Tube unit when housing a 1000 watt HID bulb. Three Kool Tubes in-line with three 1000 watt bulbs ( HPS or MH) would require 1 Vortex 8 in. @ cfm of cooling power. Use with 400 watt, 600 watt or 1000 watt bulb ( HPS or MH). Each Kool Tube comes with an internal reflector. Our Ultragrow models also have exterior reflector wings to enlarge the growing area. this the "Big Boy" in air-cooling technology. Reflector includes heavy duty brackets for peace of mind installation and pre-installed mogul socket with 15 ft cord for extra ease! Tempered glass is capable of holding heat temperatures of 5000 BTUs.
